We offer a varied task in a research team (currently 7 members and growing) that is being set up within the Heidelberg Institute for Global Health (approx. 200 employees)

Responsibilities

  • Project management, including budget management, procurement, reimbursement, project communication via e-mail and telephone, project overview
  • Administrative tasks, including contract management, filling forms and documents, sending invoices, and collecting receipts
  • Support in organization and coordination of workshops and events
  • Support in organization and billing of business trips

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar position (specifically in relation to project and budget management, ideally in research projects but this is not essential)
  • Very good MS Office skills, experience with the use of online meeting platforms (Zoom), knowledge of the SAP procurement system BISI is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • High sense of responsibility, independent work, pronounced team orientation, enjoys dealing with people in an international environment
