Being a substantial member of our local management team, we are looking for a Factory Controller who supports our production site in terms of business strategy, budgeting and reporting. You have relevant experience in financial controlling roles, ideally in an international company in the industry sector and you want to take over responsibility in a local production site? Your responsibilities

• Serves as the key partner for the Local Factory Manager in determining Local strategy, aligning with BU strategy, implementing, and making adjustments in implementation as needed
• Supports on preparation of relevant financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Evaluates financial implications of various business decisions and recommends actions
• Contributes to definition of key performance indicators, identifies issues, and advises management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve. Drives for appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency
• Support and ensure quality control over financial closing and reporting
• Ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defines and implements internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Ensures compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines. Supports internal and external audits
• Preparation and monitoring of business cases and investments in Capex, working capital and footprint
• Participates in initiatives and projects to continuously improve financial accounting and reporting processes and tools
• Lead and develop local controlling team to execute financial reporting and accounting

Your background

• Holding a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
• You have minimum 10 years working experience in business controlling, preferably from a global company
• Good English skills is required, both verbal and in written German will be an advantage
• Excellent analytical and accounting skills are essential, as good knowledge of SAP and advanced MS excel
• You will be a self-motivated, goal-orientated individual, capable of working both alone or as part of a team
